May 5th 2010 was my last entry here, it seems both longer and less long ago. Longer because such a lot has happened in the mean time, less long because, in some way dA has never been far from my mind. I kept wanting to come back, but for some reason I didn't.

One of the reasons is simple, though, lack of a way to upload images directly through Lightroom. I switched to LR when it was still in it's original beat and loved it from the moment I laid eyes on it. Since then it's gone from strength to strength and I'm currently happily playing around with the LR4 beta. Shortly after I stared using it I bumped into Jeffrey Friedl's website and found the plugins he wrote to upload stuff to Facebook, Flickr and Picasa...but not deviantArt. Though I didn't consider swapping dA for Flickr, I did en up in a situation where I considered uploading images to dA was too much of a hassle.

Oh well, since then I've been bitten by the HDR bug and have been having fun twisting pixels. I'm going to see if I can upload some of the better examples here. I'll start with some of the earlier shots and hope to keep up my posting.

I'd like to thank everyone who commented on and/or enjoyed my pictures. Meanwhile, I'll go see if I can update various other bits here, such as my profile and my signature.
