Strange weather. We actually had a little sun, to enjoy with some fresh baked bread and home made fritata. Even nice enough to have a glass of rosé.
The not so nice bits I spent inside, browsing, through, some 330 slides all taken back in Turkey in '91. I scanned 140 of them, but several of these are similar and I merely scanned the lot to pick out my favourite later. There's a few very nice shots in there, and a lot more that give you a (hopefully) wonderful impression of Turkey.
What surprised me most is the way I focused on some bits and not on others. There was a large number of mosque shots, some of which I will share, and a relatively large series made on the Ataturk mausoleum in Ankara. Quite a few of the antiquity shots I turned down for scanning for being to...common.
Anyroad. I'll start editing and uploading these, by the end of the week.
In the mean time I've uploaded a first few shots of Binnenweg monologen series. Most of them will probably end up in the portrait category somewhere. I hope you like them, as they are a far cry from my regular submissions.
