I give up...

Tue Nov 25, 2008, 11:29 PM
So another six months (almost) went by in the blink of an eye, and I never even thought of updating this journal...

When I look at the Journal Entries list on the side, I think I can see a pattern. I don't do posting well in Summer (and only slightly better in Winter).

What happened?
Mostly work I'm afraid. Lots of little, time consuming stuff.

Funwise, I visited my mate ~hya on his stay in France and spent a lovely weekend in Annecy. This town is ever so pretty and, yes, I took lots of piccies, some of which I hope to upload in coming months. He then visited me on his way back home and we took even more pictures.

Various smaller trips and shoots followed and a month ago I did a fun photo-safari in Den Haag with a friend.

Last weekend caught us in Drenthe, in the snow! I think this is the earliest snow I can remember and it made for some lovely shots. The raw work on those is done, so I'll be uploading some of my favourites over the next couple days.

So...how are you?

Like you, busy with little jobs.........decorating the whole house at the moment.......that's the only painting I'm doing. Before that Jen and I enjoyed a couple of cruises, Norway and then the Med.........Yup the snow came early, I watched the weather forecasts as we got it and saw it move east to Holland........enjoy!!

Cruise and Norway suggests Stavanger? Nice little town. I spent a couple weeks there in various stints working for a Norwegian oil company.

Yup, we got to Stavanger. A nice and interesting town. It was the last stop before sailing back to the UK. The towns and villages that we visited in the Fjords were however far more interesting....but then again, it was raining in Stavanger and that always have an influence.......
In the afternoon it did stop raining and we visited an iron age settlement on which they had constructed a 'house' of the time.....very interesting.
