Looking at the calendar I wonder where the time went.

After meeting ~flumpie I had a lot of stuff to do for work. We're running several conversion projects at the same time, so I spent a lot of time traveling the country.

Then came a lovely trip to Paris with my girlfriend. It was her first time in Paris (other than passing through) and we had a wonderful time. The two of us stayed in a simple hotel off Boulevard Saint Michel and spent five days hiking around Paris, seeing things, watching people, taking pictures, eating well and generally enjoying life. In the end she went home with close to 500 piccies and I with just over 800.

She had fun playing with her 18-200mm lense and I really enjoyed watched her enjoy herself. Not to mention the fun of seeing the world through someone else's eyes. It's funny how we often pick up on the same things, but see them differently.

I had a spot of dumb luck as I ordered a Nikon 18-200mm VR lense and ended up finding out the shop did get the lense but there was a mistake in my phone number...so they ended up selling it to someone else.
Dôh...

Then I got a spot of bad luck. Mid October I sprained an intra-vertebrate disc. This disc promptly pinched a nerve and I've been having various kinds of leg and back aches since. It's not quite over yet, the physiotherapist thinks it will take 3-6 weeks to heal completely, and work from home. At the start of it I had to lie down a lot to get rid of the pain, but these days it's barable.

Luckily I can work from home, so...

Anyroad, I hope to be uploading some more shots in the near future.

Hope your back sorts itself out soon, backs can cause a a lot of pain and people tend not to take back problems particularly seriously. I'm pleased your trip to Paris went well...such a romantic city for you and Hetty.

I'll look forward to seeing your different perspectives on life :D

Paris is indeed a wonderful place. Magical!
My back's doing better, but my leg's still not okay. Physio says it will eventually, though.

Hope you had Christmas at home?

Hello there! Hadn't realised you were in Paris for five whole days (!!), thought it was more of a weekend trip. Sorry to hear about your back, but look on the bright side.. new lens to play with soon! (I'm assuming you just ordered it again).

Looking forward to seeing what you upload to DA :)
