Sinterklaas is almost here

Sun Dec 3, 2006, 5:20 AM
Looking outside the sky is a solid grey, the street and cars are wet and the tree in front of my window has lost all it's leaves. The blue tits don't seem to mind, though.

I'm still working mostly from home, as while my back seems to be mostly okay, my right leg and foot still aren't. I still have this cramp feeling in my calf and I still have a 'dead' foot. The physio is working on it and tells me I shouldn't complain.

On a happier note, I managed to get hold of a white elephant: the Nikon 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6 G ED with VR. My photo store had 20 on order and ended up getting 3. I'm still playing with it, but I think I won't be switching lenses often.

I also booked a short trip to the US (early January) to visit my brother for his graduation and some friends, including ~hya

Last but no least I uploaded two Paris shots and hope to get a few more up in the coming week(s). I hope you enjoy them.

Physio's are unsymapathetic cold hearted meanies....I guess they have to be to motivate people.

Have you a trapped nerve?. I hope the physio sorts it out soon, backs can be buggers.

Sounds like a monster lens.....have fun in the USA :D

Actually, mine's a skinny, chatty youngish lady (youngish as in roughly my age) who's actually rather sympathetic. ;) She's got a holistic view to things and included a lot of psychology in her studies. And yes, I do have a trapped nerve. She's convinced she can handle it, and I have no reason not to trust she can :)

I'll only be flying January 5th, so I hope to be a round a few more times before that :)
