Summer? What summer?

Thu Jul 21, 2005, 11:35 PM
For the last couple of days Summer appears to have handed in the towel early this year. Very early... It's been raining on and off, with strong winds. Temperatures have barely managed to crawl over 20C. Currently rain is beating a tattoo against my window.
Blêch...

Oh well, tomorrow is weekend, and we don't have to go anywhere (except for a dinner invitation, which is always fun :)) I hope to be able to spend some time this weekend scanning my Turkey slides and finally make those backups I've been promising myself. I also hope to upload some of the Binnenweg monologen shots.

Wishing you a good weekend!

Today seems a bit better. Alternately cloudy, but nice bits of warm sunlight in between.

That's very kind. Hot here is about 30C, but it's often quite humid too when it actually gets hot. Normal summer temperatures here about 20-24C.

Oh, I'll take what you have...it's been near 100 F (don't know the conversion) and humid... DEAR GOD it's NASTY.

Enjoy the dinner party, and if Turkey is anything like your Egypt set...I'm looking forward to this!

Dinner was fun and I'm now busy scanning Turkey slides. I think I scanned about a hundred by now and there's a few real nice shots in ther (IMO).

100F ~36C. I don't mind that as a temperature, but not with that humidty. Personally I prefer a not too humid 90F.
