Silly me. Very silly me...
I found out today that three of every four Turkey slides were scanned at a much lower resolution (about 1000px at the longest edge rather than the intended 6000px) than planned. I looked at the first fiew shots and realised thw quality of these simply isn't good enough to upload, so I'll have to rescan them at a better resolution. I hope to be able to do so this week.
Today it rained again, it rained when I woke up, it rained when I arrived in Amsterdam four hours later. It still rained when I left Amsterdam an hour ago. I did waltz through the city, passing the Dam square and had fun shooting wet tourists. I'll probably be uploading the better ones of these the coming days.
On a different note: ~
flumpie is back from his holidays with a wonderful bunch of street photography shots. If you haven't seen them...pay him a visit. You won't be disappointed.

I'll be waiting to see those wet tourists
It's...weird.
BTW...your Turkey pics may not be the pixel quality you'd like but why not post them anyway? SUbject, composition, & lighting are the truly important factors, particularly if you're not putting them up for sale. Personally, I'd like to see them if only as a travelogue
As for the Turkey images. I need them as the high resolution scans, so I can properly clean them. They are somewhat smudged, dusty, etc. and with the larger scale scans I can more easily clean them. I have a bigger error margin that way.
Don't worry. They will be uploaded, but it may be another week to go.
